30 Days of Thanks

Every year I LOVE joining in on the 30 Days of Thanks especially during November.....for obvious reasons ;-)

In hopes to clearly explain to those that are unfamiliar with the trend I Googled "days of thanks" to find a clear explanation and I found several leads. Most of which are from 30 Days of Thanks however there are several blogs that are joining the trend that I have enjoyed reading and I have linked those on down.

Ok here's how it works;
  1. Consciously engage in (at least) one moment of thankfulness every day for the month
  2. TRULY be thankful
  3. If you decide you want to share what you're thankful for, you might simply say it aloud, or you might choose to write it on paper, blog about it, share it with those you love over dinner, draw something, or even sing it. There's simply no wrong way to do this. Just make the way you do it your own--as unique and special as you are!
  4. Read what others are thankful for through their blog, Facebook profile or Twitter feed. Leave comments for them. Start/build some new relationships with like-minded folks. If they're using Facebook or Twitter consider friending them and following them. Relationships are juicy, and there's a lot to be thankful for in them!

So...What are you thankful for??

I Am Back!

Just when you thought it was over, you turn a corner and see me standing there. Yes I am back and blogging again.....

As I shared in my "final" post, I wasn't following the savings steps I was preaching therefore felt guilty and convicted of being someone I was not....the very thing I hated about blogging all together. However over the past few months I have come to realize, that Prudent Wisdom isn't about practicing what I preach.

Being Prudent is to be careful and practical, a way of practicing common sense....I was reaching too high.

And Wisdom is to utilize knowledge, experience and understanding.....I may not be the wisest of all fools but I do have the ability to think.

Together Prudent Wisdom is nothing more than one carefully traveling through the journeys of life and sharing each experience in the search of understanding. Whether it be through clipping coupons or pinching pennies being prudent is the way I survive.

So here I stand, well actually sit with a k…

I Tweeted in Church

OOPS!

No really it was the silent type so no reason form me to excuse myself or be embarrassed.

However I did blush a little when the quest pastor favorited my tweet.....

Yes you read that right "the quest pastor favorited my tweet"

But did he realize I tweeted while he was preaching?

I am not sure...

Maybe that's why he liked it??

Or maybe, it was his way of letting me know I was busted....

Which brings the question;

Is tweeting in Church considered rude?

What do you think?
