My oldest tried on the glasses first and quickly ran to the laundry room (the only room in the house without a window) Before I would get in there to take the pic I heard a loud shout of "AWESOME"!! Though they were all some what bummed they had to wait till night to physically try it out. So needless to say as soon as night fell we were in the streets playing football.
Of course we had company.....I mean what is an honest review without fellowship, right?! ;-)
The boys played til it rained....again....it has been raining a lot here lately. Our friend insisted that he was going to have to purchase a pair of glasses himself and come back to play a real game of tackle in the dark. (Yes that was their most exciting moment; when they found out they could play in the dark.) However I think after his mom sees the excitement in his eyes the glasses will not be the only thing he will be getting ;-)
The next night my hubs was off shift and was anxious to play as well, especially after the boys had raved over how spectacular it was A~L~L~D~A~Y~L~O~N~G. But now he agrees it is pretty awesome and even insists that he is taking it to the hall on is next shift to show it to the guys.......I am hoping Nerf sends them their own, hint hint!
Oh and for the little ones that can't throw or catch, a simple game of hide and seek was a lot of fun too. You literally can't see the ball until it is illumified with the lights from the glasses.
Now being a BZZ agent I was able to receive this kit for free in return for my honest opinion and in order to complete my opinion I had to scope out our local Wal-Mart to check out the price range. And yet again I am pretty impressed. So impressed My hubs and I added a few more things to our boys Christmas Lists.
Yes I know I ramble a lot when I am excited about something so in case you are confused as to what I am talking about, check this out.
But you don't have to take my word for it.....check it our for yourself ;-)
