Nerf Firevison

When I found out that I was chosen to review Nerf Fire-vision I nearly jumped out of my skin with excitement. I waited anxiously for the arrival of my kit and the day it finally arrived I literally raced my boys to the door. I honestly am not sure who was more excited being I could not maintain the uncontrollable "let me see" "let me see" coming from their mouths.

My oldest tried on the glasses first and quickly ran to the laundry room (the only room in the house without a window) Before I would get in there to take the pic I heard a loud shout of "AWESOME"!! Though they were all some what bummed they had to wait till night to physically try it out. So needless to say as soon as night fell we were in the streets playing football.

Of course we had company.....I mean what is an honest review without fellowship, right?! ;-)

The boys played til it has been raining a lot here lately. Our friend insisted that he was going to have to purchase a pair of glasses himself and come back to play a real game of tackle in the dark. (Yes that was their most exciting moment; when they found out they could play in the dark.) However I think after  his mom sees the excitement in his eyes the glasses will not be the only thing he will be getting ;-)

The next night my hubs was off shift and was anxious to play as well, especially after the boys had raved over how spectacular it was A~L~L~D~A~Y~L~O~N~G. But now he agrees it is pretty awesome and even insists that he is taking it to the hall on is next shift to show it to the guys.......I am hoping Nerf sends them their own, hint hint!

Oh and for the little ones that can't throw or catch, a simple game of hide and seek was a lot of fun too. You literally can't see the ball until it is illumified with the lights from the glasses.

Now being a BZZ agent I was able to receive this kit for free in return for my honest opinion and in order to complete my opinion I had to scope out our local Wal-Mart to check out the price range. And yet again I am pretty impressed. So impressed My hubs and I added a few more things to our boys Christmas Lists.

Yes I know I ramble a lot when I am excited about something so in case you are confused as to what I am talking about, check this out.

But you don't have to take my word for it.....check it our for yourself ;-)

I Am Back!

Just when you thought it was over, you turn a corner and see me standing there. Yes I am back and blogging again.....

As I shared in my "final" post, I wasn't following the savings steps I was preaching therefore felt guilty and convicted of being someone I was not....the very thing I hated about blogging all together. However over the past few months I have come to realize, that Prudent Wisdom isn't about practicing what I preach.

Being Prudent is to be careful and practical, a way of practicing common sense....I was reaching too high.

And Wisdom is to utilize knowledge, experience and understanding.....I may not be the wisest of all fools but I do have the ability to think.

Together Prudent Wisdom is nothing more than one carefully traveling through the journeys of life and sharing each experience in the search of understanding. Whether it be through clipping coupons or pinching pennies being prudent is the way I survive.

So here I stand, well actually sit with a k…

I Tweeted in Church

No really it was the silent type so no reason form me to excuse myself or be embarrassed.

However I did blush a little when the quest pastor favorited my tweet.....

Yes you read that right "the quest pastor favorited my tweet"

But did he realize I tweeted while he was preaching?

I am not sure...

Maybe that's why he liked it??

Or maybe, it was his way of letting me know I was busted....

Which brings the question;

Is tweeting in Church considered rude?

What do you think?
