About 4 months ago I came up with an idea for a coupon trading group, I named it The Coupon Shuffle and at that time it is was a trading post, for couponers to trade coupons. I was encouraged to get this going, but wasn't involved with it as much as I had hoped. However, I see now that it was because I limited the abilities of the group. Referring to it as just trading coupons and not offering support that we all (I) need. After the past few months I have decided to change the groups limitations by changing the concept a bit.
The concept of this group is now in the direction of an accountability;
What is The Coupon Shuffle?
A group containing members that are serious couponers, interested in supporting other couponers on a daily/weekly basis, encouraging each member to stay in the game, sharing tips and helping each other save even more money by trading coupons for coupons supporting each reserve.
Why Trade Coupons?
Every time you throw away a coupon you are throwing away MONEY!!! Thousands of people every day throw away thousands of $$$$. Even if you don't need the products and even if the coupon is expired you could still use it to help others save money.
Yes, even expired coupons. Expired Coupons can be used on most military bases and commissaries up to 6 months after expiration date.Think about how much money you can help families of soldiers save......Then think about your neighbor that has 6 kids, though you don't have any children your neighbor can definitely use those Huggies coupons you are so quick to toss........and; say you are allergic to Tide, some one across the way is allergic to All, the 2 of you could meet up, trade and BAAAAM You helped some one out, the buddy system at its best ;-)
The Bible says in Philippians 2:3-4;
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
How Does It Work?
- Just post a coupon that you are not going to, or able, to use. Let the members know that you are either willing to give it away or are looking to trade for a coupon that you can, or will, use.
- You can post that you are looking for a specific coupon or are in need of.
