Love Challenge ~Day 6

Isn't it funny how when you are dating you are all about pursuing on another, then after marriage and 7 years later the total art of "pursing" is completely lost? Through the midst of our "transformation" pursuing one another was an absolute challenge. The very thought to me was hysterical!! Why on Earth would I want to pursue my hubs? A man that I had already said I do to? A man that i had been with, lived with and conceived children with? He obviously knows me inside and out, what else would we have to share that we don't already know? Seriously? I really had no idea what pursuing truly meant.

I always thought that pursuing was more of the mans job and the woman was to make it a chase, lol Never did I realize that even after marriage one should not stop pursuing the other. Today's challenge is just that ways you can pursue your hubs. Here are 2 examples;

  • Affirmation - You should be your husband's biggest fan! Tell him you love him, tell him he looks nice, tell him he's a good dad, tell him you appreciate his hard work, tell him he's a hunk! Your husband shouldn't have to live on a compliment you gave him two weeks ago. Make affirming him a primary way you pursue him. It is a lie and a myth that men don't care about feelings or emotions. They want to know you still have feelings and emotions for them! Affirming your husband is a great way to show him your love and desire to pursue him.
  • Affection - Your husband wants to know he is desired. It's not true that all he cares about is s*x. He certainly cares about it, but he also wants to be wanted. Be a wife who initiates physical contact.

  • Think of one or two ways that you can pursue your husband, and put that plan into action today!

    I Am Back!

    Just when you thought it was over, you turn a corner and see me standing there. Yes I am back and blogging again.....

    As I shared in my "final" post, I wasn't following the savings steps I was preaching therefore felt guilty and convicted of being someone I was not....the very thing I hated about blogging all together. However over the past few months I have come to realize, that Prudent Wisdom isn't about practicing what I preach.

    Being Prudent is to be careful and practical, a way of practicing common sense....I was reaching too high.

    And Wisdom is to utilize knowledge, experience and understanding.....I may not be the wisest of all fools but I do have the ability to think.

    Together Prudent Wisdom is nothing more than one carefully traveling through the journeys of life and sharing each experience in the search of understanding. Whether it be through clipping coupons or pinching pennies being prudent is the way I survive.

    So here I stand, well actually sit with a k…

    I Tweeted in Church

    OOPS!

    No really it was the silent type so no reason form me to excuse myself or be embarrassed.

    However I did blush a little when the quest pastor favorited my tweet.....

    Yes you read that right "the quest pastor favorited my tweet"

    But did he realize I tweeted while he was preaching?

    I am not sure...

    Maybe that's why he liked it??

    Or maybe, it was his way of letting me know I was busted....

    Which brings the question;

    Is tweeting in Church considered rude?

    What do you think?
