Halloween/Birthday Bash

My son's birthday is in October and since the day he was born I have always wanted to do a Halloween/Birthday bash. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! Not for the gooey goblins or the gore at all and no I am not a devil worshiper, I just like the fact that it is ok for one day to dress up and pretend to be some one else ;-)

My son on the other hand didn't feel the same way, not until last year when he finally gave into my begging and decided to have a Halloween/Birthday bash. Together we went and picked out some decor, then I searched on the internet things I could make my self, he decided what he wanted to be and with the help of my mom and my friend we brought it all together. We even built a haunted house out a 2 room tent we had ;-)

It was a COMPLETE success, better than I imagined! So much so that my son decided that he wanted to make it a tradition and have a Halloween/Birthday bash EVERY year. YAY!!!

I have to give my mom and friend credit for such great decor, together they worked hard on it. However the specimen bottles are all mine, lol. Check it out;

This is only part of it, the haunted house pics didn't show up very well =0( Yet we are having another one this year so stay tuned for the scary fun ;-)

I Am Back!

Just when you thought it was over, you turn a corner and see me standing there. Yes I am back and blogging again.....

As I shared in my "final" post, I wasn't following the savings steps I was preaching therefore felt guilty and convicted of being someone I was not....the very thing I hated about blogging all together. However over the past few months I have come to realize, that Prudent Wisdom isn't about practicing what I preach.

Being Prudent is to be careful and practical, a way of practicing common sense....I was reaching too high.

And Wisdom is to utilize knowledge, experience and understanding.....I may not be the wisest of all fools but I do have the ability to think.

Together Prudent Wisdom is nothing more than one carefully traveling through the journeys of life and sharing each experience in the search of understanding. Whether it be through clipping coupons or pinching pennies being prudent is the way I survive.

So here I stand, well actually sit with a k…

I Tweeted in Church

OOPS!

No really it was the silent type so no reason form me to excuse myself or be embarrassed.

However I did blush a little when the quest pastor favorited my tweet.....

Yes you read that right "the quest pastor favorited my tweet"

But did he realize I tweeted while he was preaching?

I am not sure...

Maybe that's why he liked it??

Or maybe, it was his way of letting me know I was busted....

Which brings the question;

Is tweeting in Church considered rude?

What do you think?
