Bible in 90 Days Latest Update

Well last week I grounded myself from the netbook being that I felt I was spending too much time on it rather than concentration on my 90 day challenge. I was so far behind that it seemed like I would never catch and technically I still haven’t. What I thought would only take a few days ended up being a week due to the fact that 2 of my children fell ill in the middle of it all.

My youngest had a touch of thrush, in which I have never had the pleasure of dealing with before and I had no idea it was contagious until I showed up at work, dropping him off in his childcare room, which is when I also discovered since I nurse I too need to be treated, but that is another post. About the same time my middle son was diagnosed with inphantigo which is extremely contagious, I know because the doctor actually shared that information. Poor guy was more upset that he could no longer kiss his baby brother till it went away than he was with the medicine he had to swallow.

In the mean time I was picking up my Bible every chance I got even when I was the passenger in the car and I still remained behind. Yet I am learning more than I ever imagined and being that I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason I am content with being behind. If it wasn’t for this challenge I would not have come as far as I have and I would not be so determined to read every word, which has made me realize that this is what I am suppose to do regardless.

Since I was raised in a Church and have been surrounded by Church family most of my life, I know all the Bible stories but have only had them read to me. To actually read them myself is the only way that I am able to recreate the scene for my own children and actually understanding every situation, myself is the only way I will be able to make them understand as well. I am not sure how I ever thought I was going to be able to raise Christians in a house of God without “knowing” his word.

Thank you Mom's Tool Box for creating this challenge and though I am 2 books behind I am now 3 steps ahead!

I Am Back!

Just when you thought it was over, you turn a corner and see me standing there. Yes I am back and blogging again.....

As I shared in my "final" post, I wasn't following the savings steps I was preaching therefore felt guilty and convicted of being someone I was not....the very thing I hated about blogging all together. However over the past few months I have come to realize, that Prudent Wisdom isn't about practicing what I preach.

Being Prudent is to be careful and practical, a way of practicing common sense....I was reaching too high.

And Wisdom is to utilize knowledge, experience and understanding.....I may not be the wisest of all fools but I do have the ability to think.

Together Prudent Wisdom is nothing more than one carefully traveling through the journeys of life and sharing each experience in the search of understanding. Whether it be through clipping coupons or pinching pennies being prudent is the way I survive.

So here I stand, well actually sit with a k…

I Tweeted in Church

No really it was the silent type so no reason form me to excuse myself or be embarrassed.

However I did blush a little when the quest pastor favorited my tweet.....

Yes you read that right "the quest pastor favorited my tweet"

But did he realize I tweeted while he was preaching?

I am not sure...

Maybe that's why he liked it??

Or maybe, it was his way of letting me know I was busted....

Which brings the question;

Is tweeting in Church considered rude?

What do you think?

Thanks for Reading,
